The Brick’s CornerIn the fall of 1994 1 had returned from a weekend attending Darkwood's Arts and Science Tourney. I proceeded to unpack and wash all my clothing including a veil. Now, this veil is not an ordinary veil, but one encrusted with fresh water pearls and gold beads. It is very dear to me. I washed the veil, very carefully folded it, and put it in its usual resting place. A few weeks later I went to wear the veil and woe unto me. MY PRECIOUS VEIL (encrusted with fresh water pearls and gold beads) WAS MISSING!!! I looked high and low for nigh unto eight months, Do you think I could find this wondrous veil? A resounding NO! I couldn't find it anywhere. Then I attended the Southern Shores Warlord Tourney in June of 1995. Lady Deborah FitzWilliam and I went on a Quest for the True Brick. We didn't find the True Brick, but we found other wondrous things including a pink feather (Baronial Blue). The next day, the VERY next day, my precious veil (encrusted with fresh water pearls and gold beads) reappeared. I know in my heart of hearts that this was a Miracle of the True Brick of the Ancient and Mighty Province of Southern Shores. I remain in service to the Dream, Lady Catherine Lorraine of Stonegate Manor
