Courageous Currie

It doth take much courage to eat this currie for it doth engendere greate choler, and it doth require vaste quantities of wyne for to neutralize it.

The Filling-Currie

Take enough meate and hack it wel. Putte withe some funges some onyones and also some garlick and smite hem and withe butter skalde hem wel.  Mix muche hotte spyce and else some herbs fyne. Ye must also take grene apples and hacke hem into the stew. Coke it until it is done.

To make a Pye

Putte ye the currie into a blanket and cover it and bake it wel and serve it forth.
